Certified Training

The content offered on this website has been provided by the University of Virginia Office of Continuing Medical Education in conjunction with the Virginia Dept. of Health and the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. The content offers valuable continuing education credit for physicians, nurses, dietitians, IBCLCS, and midwives, including up to 20 hours of continuing education credit as well as MOC Part 2 and Part 4 opportunities. Employer-Based Programs to Support Breastfeeding Among Working Mothers: A Systematic Review

This review by the Dept. of Nutrition and Food Studies at Montclair State University, NJ suggests that maintaining breastfeeding while working is not only possible but also more likely when employers provide the support that women need to do so.
