USDA Study Finds Improved Feeding Practices Among Infants Participating in WIC
Breastfeeding rates increased sharply over the past 20 years among women participating in the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s (USDA) Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). A new USDA study found that more than 95% of mothers who started breastfeeding reported that WIC played a role in their decision to breastfeed.
